R-PHY & D3.1 Interop 2018
To help manufacturers achieve Interoperability for Remote PHY and DOCSIS 3.1 products, Excentis organises an Interoperability event in its test labs from 14 to 18 May, 2018. Main scope for this event is to verify PHY and MAC layer interoperability between Cable Modems (CMs), Remote PHY Devices and Cable Modem Termination Systems (CMTS/CCAP). More details about this event can be found in the below Guidelines document.
EuroDOCSIS and EuroPacketCable Interops
Every three months Excentis hosts a one week Interop event for all products supporting EuroDOCSIS 2.0/3.0, EuroPacketCable 1.5, eRouter and/or L2VPN. During such Interop event equipment manufacturers come over to Excentis to verify the interoperability of their products with other products. Excentis offers this service free of charge. More details about this event can be found in the below Interop Guidelines document.
Vendors are also given the opportunity to participate in an ATP run. Excentis then executes ATP tests the same way as they’re done during official certification testing. This allows vendors to gain confidence in their products towards succeeding certification testing. More details about this testing service can be found in the below ATP Run Guidelines document. Please contact us to get a detailed list of offered tests with pricing info.
As of ECW55 the management of the EuroDOCSIS 2.0/3.0 and the EuroPacketCable 1.5 certification process has moved from Cable Europe Labs/EuroCableCertification to CableLabs. Although Excentis keeps on performing the testing, several things do change for submitting vendors. Vendors wishing to submit a product for EuroDOCSIS 2.0/3.0 or EuroPacketCable 1.5 must now submit at CableLabs. The CableLabs guidelines, schedule and fee documents, as well as their online application tool have been updated for this purpose. In case of any questions, do not hesitate to contact us.
Excentis also offers eRouter (a.k.a Cable Gateway) and L2VPN certification testing through CableLabs.
LTE Immunity and (Euro)PacketCable 2.0 certification testing is being offered by Excentis, directly.
Below you can find the technical requirements document for all submitted products, as well as a detailed schedule. Specific guidelines and details on other certification programs (i.e. all except ED2.0/3.0 and EP1.5) can be found on the specific Certification Program pages.
