June 7, 2012 - Ghent (Belgium) - Excentis announces its brand new ByteBlower® 2100 IP testing tool at the Anga Cable show from June 12 till 14, 2012.
The Excentis ByteBlower® IP testing tool is a multi-port TCP/IP system for advanced testing of IP networks and network equipment. It can generate traffic, measure path latency, jitter, loss rates and verify protocol behavior.
"The new ByteBlower 2100 is more than an evolution of the current ByteBlower 1000 series", says Wim De Ketelaere, CTO at Excentis. "It combines its ease-of-use, flexibility, scalability and competitive price with four Gigabit interfaces supporting line-rate speed with all packet sizes! "
"Besides this performance boost," he continues, "the ByteBlower 2100 also comes with an unrivalled port density: the ByteBlower 2100 can be configured with up to 192 physical ports".
Not only the maximum packet rate of the 2000 series is 10 times higher than that of the 1000 series, the accuracy of the latency measurements is also increased by a factor of 50, thus ensuring accuracies of 20 ns!
The ByteBlower IP testing tool is already deployed in many test labs, manufacturing plants and research environments to test the performance and behaviour of both IPv4 and IPv6 network equipment. The ByteBlower 2100 can be combined with current ByteBlower 1000 series, and used in high-speed test environments.
