Euro-DOCSIS 1.x/2.0/3.0
The Euro-DOCSIS (European Data Over Cable Service Interface Specification) standard defines interface specifications for high-speed data communication over Hybrid Fibre Coax (HFC) networks. It is based on the CableLabs® DOCSIS® specifications (www.cablemodem.com). The initial version (1.0), offering only best effort services is expanded with additional security and quality of service in version 1.1, and version 2.0 enhances the overall upstream throughput using an advanced TDMA solution and introducing the S-CDMA solution. Version 3.0 allows for higher bandwidths, enhanced security and IPv6. >>
Euro-PacketCable 1.0/1.5
Euro-PacketCable is the European standard for IP-based multimedia services over cable. It is rested on the US specification PacketCableTM developed by CableLabs®. The initial version (1.0) standardises IP telephony on top of the Euro-DOCSIS access network. Version 1.5 adds a number of enhancements, such as T.38 fax relay and DTMF relay. >>

Euro-PacketCable Multimedia describes a platform to provide quality of service to any IP-based multimedia service, on top of the Euro-DOCSIS access network. It is founded on the US specification PacketCableTM Multimedia developed by CableLabs®, and includes solutions for billing and network security. >>
