ATP service for vendors
At anytime vendors may ask Excentis to run a selection of EuroDOCSIS 2.0 and/or EuroPacketCable 1.5 and/or EuroPacketCable Multimedia ATP tests. The same testing will be done as during the certification waves. Vendors may be interested in this for product development, preparation for a certification wave, debugging an issue, verifying a fix for an issue, ...
Procedure

Starting point is the excel sheet with an overview of the available tests (this is the same list as for the second dry-run). In this excel sheet the vendor indicates which tests the vendor wants Excentis to run. Each test has an associated number of “test points”. Tests for minimal 20 test points in total must be selected.

The vendor sends an email to testing@excentis.com with in attachment the excel sheet with selected tests. Excentis will respond with a quotation, a proposal for testing timelines, and the required number of samples required for the selected testing.

The vendor sends a purchase order and ships the required number of samples to Excentis. An invoice will then be sent back. Excentis will start the testing according the proposed timelines, on the condition that the invoice is paid and the samples are delivered in time.

The tests are done without the presence of the vendor. If for some reason an engineer needs to be present, this must first be agreed with Excentis. As soon as a failure is detected during testing, Excentis will report this to the vendor by email.

After testing an overview of all test results will be sent by email. Re-testing an issue or a fix for an issue is not included, but tests may be re-run as part of a different ATP testing project, or in case the vendor did not make use yet of all reserved test points it will be no problem. As a matter of fact it is possible for a vendor to set up an account and pay for a larger amount of test points, and cut this in smaller pieces with distinct execution timelines.
Fee
The testing fee will depend on number of test points associated with the selected tests. The minimal number of test points is 20.
Logistics
All shipments are at cost of the vendor. The number of required samples to be shipped will depend on the selected tests. For some tests special samples may be required (units with test certificates for example). Destination address for shipments:
